Spencer currently lives in Austin Texas and is originally from Los Angeles. Spencer has specialized in leading innovative start-ups and has participated in the success of numerous online ventures, most recently as CEO and Co-Founder of Affiliate Fuel, a leading online performance-based advertising network which was acquired by Experian Financial Services. Spencer has over 20 years combined experience in mobile technology strategy/development/deployment, online advertising/marketing, interactive media development and Instructional design-based eLearning/Training. Above all, he enjoys the daily interaction with customers which allows him to demonstrate measurable results through strategy and creative solution execution. Spencer`s hobbies include restoring old cars, hanging out with his Great Dane "Chopper" and defining the mobile application space.
Q Manning lives in Austin, Texas where he uses his 15 years of design & marketing experience to ensure every Appiction Application is beautiful, useful, and fun to use. A stickler for detail in form and function, Q loves to spend time brainstorming with his team of rockstar designers to ensure every application we produce stands out from the crowd. An accomplished feature film and commercial director and Cum Laude graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Q brings a broad- knowledge of what consumers want - from marketing to implementation. On a weeknight you'll find him drinking copious amounts of coffee at any local Austin cafe. Come the weekend, you'll catch him at one of his favorite karaoke joints regaling audiences with his rendition of "Friends in Low Places."
Sam leads the development department with over 20 years of experience spanning many different business sectors including Wall Street, Telecom, Petroleum, Government and Healthcare, and well as being an early adopter of technologies such as Smalltalk, NeXTStep and Java. His expert knowledge of many programming languages and architectures, both modern and historic, enables Appiction to create and integrate with world- class, highly complex systems and infrastructures. A programmer to the core, he stays on top of the technology wave and tracks all of the latest tools, trends, and techniques in order to craft the best, most innovative solutions for our clients. Sam has taught software development to Southern Methodist University students as an Adjunct Professor, and has co-authored the O'Reilly's book, "JBoss: A Developers Notebook" and he's currently writing an iPhone book for Addison-Wesley. In his free time, Sam can be found enjoying movies and video games as well as perusing the computer books section of local Austin bookstores and continuing his quest to read the entire Internet
Rachel is tasked with ensuring once an app is created, the whole world knows about it. Starting from day one, she integrates marketing ideas directly into the software design and development, attacking the online, print and broadcast fronts. Rachel has worked in both traditional and new media, most recently with FOX and as CEO for a social networking site. Rachel was wooed away from journalism after discovering the power of the Internet while at the University of Texas. When not working with apps, you can actually still find her working with apps on her iPhone blog, and reading about zombies.
Brent M. Ziegler, CPA currently shares an office between Austin, Texas and Orlando, Florida. Brent specializes in working with young companies in developing process and procedures designed for growth. Brent has over 20 years of combined public and private accounting and consulting experience in sales and marketing driven companies. Brent is a member of both the Florida and American Institutes of Certified Public Accounts and is a proud member of the Gator Nation with a bachelors degree in Accounting. Brent enjoys supporting his children in their various endeavors and spending time with family and friends.
